Oakey’s Pet Funeral Home & Crematory provides a warm and inviting place for you and your family to gather and remember your beloved pet. Private cremations are performed on-site and many options are available for memorializing your special family member. Oakey’s Pet Funeral Home & Crematory provides private cremation. Private cremation is when there is only one pet in the cremation chamber during the cremation process.

Your pet’s cremated remains will be returned to you in a temporary urn with a certificate of cremation, ink paw print and a lock of hair. You also have the option to choose a more permanent urn. We have urns available to view at our facility or online.
Oakey’s Pet Funeral Home & Crematory can provide burial containers and can deliver your pet’s remains to a pet cemetery.
Oakey’s Pet Funeral Home & Crematory will pick up your pet from your veterinary clinic or from anywhere.* We are on-call 24 hours a day/7 days a week and are here to assist you. Just call 540-265-7297 for our services. We will also deliver your pet’s cremated remains to your veterinarian’s office. If you choose to have your pet’s cremated remains returned to your veterinarian’s office, we will notify you that they have been delivered. We can also mail your pet’s cremains to you ($95 additional charge).

We suggest that families make plans for the care of your pet before a loss, as it is simply a less stressful time to make these decisions. Pre-arrangements for your pet are available, just as with any family member and ensure your pet will be taken care of the way you desire when the time comes. Details covered include burial or cremation, urn or casket selection, if you’d like a clay paw print, a memorial celebration and charitable donations.
